2021 Symposium of Cultural Resources Arts as New Social Dynamics in the Post-Pandemic Age

Submission Themes This symposium discusses the roles and new social dynamics of arts from the significant milestone of the university history, From Luzhou to Guandu and Beyond, to the post-pandemic era. Based on core concerns of the symposium of cultural resources, the main themes of the symposium include but not limited to: Theme 1: Reconstruction and Revitalization of Cultural Heritage Architectural history, enclave and feng-shui studies; restoration, conservation, and re- vitalization of cultural heritage; folklore and intangible cultural heritage studies; traditional arts and crafts studies; transmission of traditional techniques, and relevant research on cultural heritage in the post-epidemic. Theme2: Evolution and Current Trends of Arts Management and Cultural Policy Art-based initiatives, art intervention and social design; social enterprise, art-commercial collaboration and arts entrepreneurship; industrialization of creativity and culture /cultural creative industries; artistic practice, the construction of spatial meaning, and art management thinking in the post-epidemic. Theme 3: Rooting and Impacts of Arts and Cultural Education Theory and practice of arts education; specialized practice in arts education; promotion of arts education; arts education communities; arts education media; arts education and transdisciplinary collaboration, as well as other related works in the post-epidemic. Theme 4: Techniques and Social Innovation of Museums Theory and practice of the New Museum Movement; museums and cultural heritage; museums and local societies; techniques for displaying museum collections; museum study in the post-epidemic era. Theme 5: Other Topics of Arts and Culture Research From Luzhou to Guandu and Beyond; perspectives on international cultural exchange; cultural policy studies; issues in contemporary / emerging cultures; intersections between art and social media; the further research toward the art and culture in the post-epidemic.
Submission Guidelines
Abstracts and papers may be written in Chinese or English. Chinese abstracts should be approximately 500 characters in length. English abstracts should be approximately 300 words in length. Poster presentations are not welcome. Prospective contributors should submit the paper abstract (see details below) via electronic file to our Google Form on the official website for the 2021 Symposium of Cultural Resources:

Evaluation: the association’s preparatory committee will assign experts to evaluate all submitted abstracts. Results of the evaluation will be announced on the symposium website on 5th October, 2021, and all formal notifications will be delivered by email.
